A study in frost.

When you wake up and the world is too beautiful to stay in bed, go for a walk!

Woke up this morning, and the world was too beautiful to stay in bed. Minus nine degrees Celsius outside, and yet I found myself jumping into tights, socks, and other extra warm garments, ready to admire the nature dressed in all shades of white. Even my sister, who usually pickles in bed until it’s almost too late to catch the school bus, admitted that it feels good to get up and go outside. She looked happy, even if cold. I am not an early bird myself, but sometimes it’s good to break the routine and see what happens.

A gallery, featuring frost, snow, landscapes and frozen wild apples below. All pictures taken in Zielona, my home village. Happy winter, everyone!

Soundtrack to this morning’s walk: Fleet Foxes – Blue Ridge Mountains
